I have been using an Internet of things (Iot) technology in tracking the geographical location of all tracks that are loaded with cement from the point of loading at the plant to the customer site. This is achieved by using the in-vehicle monitoring systems that are fitted with onboard gadgets that are using IOT sim cards to transmit time to time locational data to the company data center. This has been achieved through the use of fleet management software .i.e Mix telematics, Wialon(3d services) and bluetrax.
Managing drivers’ data using digital driver Management system
I have gained full experience in managing a large amount of data using an integrated software which is using file transfer protocol (FTP). This is used in onboarding the drivers, keeping all their record and also providing room for sanctioning the drivers in case there is violations attached to their trips such as short landings.

Duties that I duly performed on this role included monitoring the normal operation of the database and the server system. Incase of any hiccup on the system, I was obliged to work together with the ICT manager and in collaboration with other like minded employees in the department to troubleshoot and rectify the problem through accessing the system schematic design.
User support
On this role my prime duty was to provide user technical support in relation to IT infrastructure. These included adding a new user to the network and this would entail configuration an IP address to the individual computer so that it would would work optimally within the network without any interruption. I would also help in training the users and workers whenever any new IT infrastructures and software were introduced in the organization.
Installation of network devices
My duties here included installing new printers and client computers on the network. This was achieved by using the Windows server VMware that was making easier and efficient to install software to the machines within the network without visiting any individual machine.
Software installation and maintenance
On this role my duty was to make sure that all SAP software were up to date working optimally in order to provide for smooth operations and in this was making it easier to finish tasks earlier for other employees who hugely relied on these software for their daily operations. I was also providing update on the new software trend in the market to the organization and this was making it easier for the organization to keep with the technological trends in the field of ICT since this field is dynamic and changes happen every day.
